Honors (Pre-AP) Biology: Students will continue working at home on their Ecology project as well as taking notes on changes in their terrariums. 

• Mon., 3/5: Test Ch. 12 Vocab; Notes: Terrarium; ASIM Lab: Good Buddies - review of symbiotic relationships; Intro Evolution Unit - Sec. 2, p. 282, chapter 14. HW: Ecology project - 15,16 - due 3/7.
• Outline the modern scientific understanding of the formation of Earth
• Summarize the concept of half-life
• Describe the production of organic compounds in the Miller-Urey apparatus
• Summarize the possible importance of cell-like structures produced in the laboratory.
• Wed., 3/7: Ecology project HW check (quiz on assignments). Notes: Early history and thoughts; Natural Selection; descent with modification.  HW: Sec. Rev p. 301 1-8

Medical Tech Essentials: We will continue our reading of "The Hot Zone" as well as work on our project suitable for ACTE Competition.

Principles of Engineering: Students are competing in the West Point Bridge Building contest as well as building paper airplanes suitable for UAH Paper Airplane contest.

• Mon., 3/5: Students will begin using Creo and Mathcad as well as other assignments. Work on bridge building assignment.   
• Wed., 3/7:  Same as 3/5.
• Thurs., 3/8: Same as 3/5.

B Days: (Tues., Fri.)

Multimedia: Students will Audacity, Movie Maker/iVideo to create and finish a video podcast and upload to ALEX.  Some students will use this class time to complete ACTE projects and notebook.

Honors Biology: Same as  A days (above) Monday (Ecology project 14, 15 due Friday, 3/9) and Wednesday. Ecology HW check/quiz on Friday.
