    • Discuss why we need a system of classification
    • Notes: Levels of classification; scientific name
    • CW: Students will write down 6 animal and 4 plant names and research and list their scientific names. They will also research the scientific name of the bacteria that causes strep throat.

CW: Students will research the following: Careers: chiropractor; orthopedic surgeon; Topics:  rheumatoid arthritis; osteoarthritis; knee replacement; arthroscopic knee surgery.  Download pics (network folder) for each as well as info (google docs). Pick one career and research: job description; education required.  Select two of the 4 topics and research: symptoms, causes, cures. For surgeries, describe the procedure.  Take notes using google docs.  Download pictures into network folder. HW:  Study for test Wed. on bone ID and info from 45-2.
