Okay ... so THIS week may be our first full week since Christmas break!
A Days (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday)
Honors Biology:We will complete our introduction to genetics ... Mendel, phenotypes, genotypes, homozygous, heterozygous, Punnett squares ... and so much more! Test Thursday and then it is on to DNA!!!.
Medical Tech Essentials: It's all about the bones this week as we learn the major skeletal bones and then complete research on a topic relating to the skeletal system. Students will take notes on their topic, complete a Works Cited page using MLA format, and also finish a poster on their topic.
Modeling and Simulations: Students will continue working with various aspects of Flash animation, Sketch-up, Blender, and Gamemaker.

B Days (Tuesday and Friday)
Multimedia: We are continuing our study and creation of original audio (music) by looking at some of the principles of sound, sample rate, and audio formats. The software we will begin to use is Audacity, a free download.
Medical Tech Essentials: Same as A days.
Anatomy and Physiology: Still working our way through the chapter on muscles - beginning with a test on the major muscles of the body and ending with an in-depth look at how muscles contract using the sliding filament model.
