A full week for you, four days for me.  On Friday, there will be a substitute in all classes ... and one more thing - GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!




A Days:
Honors (Pre-AP) Biology: 
  • Monday, 10/31: Test, Ch. 5. CW: Vocab. p. 113. Activity - Demise of the Halloween Pumpkin. HW: Read Sec 1 (ch 6). SR. P. 118. Quiz on Thurs.
  • Wed., 11/:2: Test Review. Notes Sec 1. Info: Flash project. Students will create a flash animation for either image 6-3 or 6-11.  HW:  Take notes/outline 6-1
  • Thurs., 11/3: Vocab/notes quiz. Lab: leaf stomata; 
Tech Essentials: Students will begin learning HTML using resources on my Moodle site.  
  • Monday, 10/31: Intro HTML. basic tags, font sizes, bg color, how to use Moodle resources
  • Wed., 11/:2: continue using Moodle resources and practice: center, font color, insert image
  • Thurs., 11/3: insert link, bullets, numbers. Make a webpage incorporating all tags. Continue html tutorials. MLA project should be complete and all parts uploaded.
Principles of Engineering: Students are completing a website wrapping up our study of Energy. They will look at levers and make a robot/catapult that will toss ping pong balls in a basket.
  • Monday, 10/31:Present Energy websites
  • Wed., 11/:2: Intro Levers - notes. Robot basketball project info. Design Challenge Info
  • Thurs., 11/3:Ipad challenge - wastebasket paper toss. Divide into groups.
B Days (Tuesday and Friday)
Multimedia: Continue working with movie clips: eyes, head bobble, walking. 
Tech Essentials: HTML - see A Days 10/31 and 11/2.
Honors Biology: Same as 11/2 and 11/3 (A Days)
